Moscow and Dizzy

This is of the pair at the wedding reception earlier this year, congratulations Mr and Mrs Bird, both dogs so lovely, will put the other up on the litter page when I do it soon, thanks for the update on these two, I only bred Moscow but he is so laid and fitted into family life.

Harvey and Murphy

This was taken 2 days ago, it shows Harvey enjoying his first experience of snow with his buddie Flat coat Murphy, doesn't seem long ago since these were born, they are now 7 months old. Thanks Ann and family keep the photos coming

Cash and Pete

This is very apt with the current weather conditions but was taken in the snow we had before. Jenny and Pete have had in this current batch of snow to date approx 18 inches, the joys of country living!!!!! The dogs love the snow but I don't enjoy the icerink to drive on as like a lot of rural places we have no gritters etc round so although it looks stunning not a lot of fun when you have to drive on it.......

Sunday 20 December 2009

Blu and Jess

Jess lives with Blu in Leeds and she is now a grown up young lady and she is progressing well in her training as her owner wanted her to be a working trials dog.

Tyme

This is Tyme relaxing back on 2008, she is now a much beloved pet down in Sussex, she is missed as is a character but is well looked after and gets more attention as an only dog

Ester and Enya

This is a photo of Freya's mum and sister in Sweden, Maria kindly let me know the sad new in September that Ester (Nor Ch Ichbin Rheingold) had passed away and that Enya Freya's sister was missing her mum a lot so was Maria and her family.
Ester with going abroad had to stay here until she had her jabs etc to go and she is the one I would have kept for her laid back attitude to life and she was so so cuddly and lovable, so when Maria said she was going to breed from her I asked to have a puppy back, I ordered a bitch with the following markings black headed mainly white body with ticking and dark expressive eyes, little did I know that when Freya came she would leave me so soon and leave such a huge gap that still hasn't been filled. Run free Ester, find your daughter who is there waiting...... how I sympathize with Maria and her family as when Ester went it felt like Freya all over again.
Thank you again Maria for givng Ester such a wonderful home and picking me Freya.

sasha

How the dogs get arround, this young man is now in Australia, living with his owners who use to live in England, this was his first run on the beach after being allowed out of quarantine, I am sure a lot of you would like to be in the sun rather than the British weather we are having. These "pups" turned 7 in November..........................

Thursday 17 December 2009

Django and Dolce

This stunning young man is one of the adorable brown and whites in the O litter, 2 of his black and white sisters are shown, Shanna's Breeze is now and Irish Show Champion, and has had her health check earlier this year all good, hips under 10 (total) eyes clear and 0/0 elbows. Her other sister Annie is shown in this country, she may well be going to Crufts 2010 her owner cannot make her mind up.
Django can be found in the Large Munsterlander Diary and the Calanders feature loads of munsters anybody wanting one should contact me

Mabel - Ichbin Night Musik - RIP

This was the last photo taken of Mabel, and she left this plane to run free over the rainbow bridge on 10th of September 2010. She was Kates first munster, she had experience of them before as use to look after Ch Raycris Hi Flyers litter sister while the owner was at work, all her dogs are really well trained. I know she is still really missed.
This litter was born June 1996, and she will be meeting up with her brothers Fleck (Ichbin Nightraider), Bracken (Ichbin Nightflyer) and Lewis (Ichbin Nightcloud) who all past on during 2009.
Thanks for giving them such good homes over the years and staying in touch, as a breeder means a lot.

my Rubin

Long gone but not forgotten.............................
Ichbin Mischief Maker born 10 12 1992

Luna

This is Luna, part of the Ecclestone household and her owner is looking forward to taking her along to watch on a couple of half days at the end of the shooting season, she is coming along nicely, her brothers (all 4) are doing fine they will be featured later on as I sort the photos out, its been lovely to see Flikka and Lagga's litter grow up, Balian who lives here has been busy watching Yeats chase the snow flurries here today, and now follows him doing it, didn't take long for him to follow his buddies lead.................................... he is a follower not a leader just what I wanted and Hannah requested as his handler in the show ring

Jasper

This is Jasper a photo taken a while ago now but showing his working instinct, his owners emailed earlier to say he had just started the working season and is part of the rough shooting days his owner goes on, a real asset.
Love to hear form owners how you and your munster are doing.
Had some lovely photos through the post which I will scan in during the next few days and use on here, scanner is still in box and not got it set up as yet. I have been filing and sorting paperwork recently so when I have finally sorted all that or want a break you will see more photos as I file them away so keep looking..........................

Echo

This photo is very apt and seasonal, taken a while ago of Echo, Ichbin Harmony, she will be 13 on the 20th of December, she lives with Brian and Paulyne and since they moved this year have had the pleasure of seeing her a few times during 2009, she is mum to my D litter and has a Rcc to her name, most of her siblings have past over the rainbow bridge. Two of her siblings were quite famous in the dog world, Ben introduced Tracey to the working side of things and was top LMC working test dog one year and sure you all remember Kalli, mum to the Yeldoaks litter who did so well and she herself won many awards in the show arena. The others not to be overshadowed have been much loved pets and they are all characters with a capitol C.

EBONY

,This is a photo of my Ebony, again taken as a youngster, she was shown lightly and gained a RCC from Junior, but loved being a mum more, one of few who had 3 litters, she was mum to the Ichbin H, R and F litters, she was by my one and only Storm, Sh Ch Gorsebank Baron Gustav JW and Zaya, Gorsebank Dame Greta V Ichbin. She was mum to Ping, featured in the previous photo, who was from her last litter.

Ping

This Ping, no not named after the penguin cartoon character, just because as a youngster she use to ping up and down all the time, she is now a lady of 9 and living down south in a lovely pub, but is looking for a male comapanion as she lost hers earlier this year, Bracken who was Ichbin Nightflyer, I am sure she will find one. This was taken of her as a youngster before she came mum to the Ichbin B and T litters.

Woody and Ben

This is Woody on the left and Ben on the right of Neil, Woody's owner, they are brothers. Woody live with Loiuse, Neil and baby Finlay, Ben lives with Louse's mum Joan, and often out together, and see each other most days, they are Tarots sons, who features on the previous post. Thanks for the lovely photo's

Cash and Tarot

This show Tarot and his friend Cash who live a happy relaxed life in Norfolk, he has been with Jenny and Pete nearly a year now, as they said they would love him but wanted to wait until they had moved, well just before Christmas last year he went to visit and ended up staying....
Cash and him are best buddies and are constant companions. Thanks Jenny and Pete for giving him such a lovely home. They can be seen in the Large Munsterlander Calendar for 2010, anybody wanting a copy please contact me as still have some available

Tuesday 15 December 2009

Freya at the Nat Apt

This is Roy and Janets Freya out of the E litter, she is seen here after taking part in the LMC Natural Aptitude Test, she had a fantastic day and Roy was delighted as was I when she passed her test, Roy is teaching her to be a Deer Stalking girl and she is doing really well.
She can also be found in Large Munsterlander Rescue Cal for 2010, so if you want to be in next years contact me, or if you would like a cal for 2010 also contact me for details. Thanks for the very atmospheric photo

Sad News - Murphy RIP

Stuart and Katrina had to say goodbye to Murphy Ichbin Dragon Legend earlier this year, this is one of the last times he was photographed, I know he was their first munsterlander and is sorely missed, he was shown and worked. I had the pleasure of trying to show him a few times but he was devoted to Stuart so he played me up. He would have been 10 in September. He was such a character and lived with Ferdi, Kip, Foose and Digby.

Frank Kanes new book

What a lovely book by Frank Kane available from Dog World, a real pleasure to read and an insight into how Frank Kane judges dogs. Well worth buying..
Even more impressive is when I saw the Large Munsterlander he had to represent the breed, both on the cover (above) and head shot (below), was a dog I gave his first CC to and who went on to become Sh Ch Yeldoaks Hot Favourite of Palangor.
Indi is by Tarkanya Magic Master and Sh Ch Ichbin Heavensent of Yeldoaks, who I know was a favourite of Frank Kanes as when he did the Gundog Group at Crufts he gave her a special mention.
Indi's owners Alan and Paulyne are absolutely delighted their Indi is the one in the book and are so proud as they should be.

Misty

I just love the photo, it says it all, The "C" litter are now 6 and a half, crumbs time really does fly by, she sat here with here mate Shamrock, there peace was shattered early this year when Archer joined them, photos to come of him later, happy christmas "C" litter

Rosie

This John proudly showing off Rosie at the club show in Feb, not shown but a much loved addition to the family, hardly seems possible but this litter is now 7, happy christmas to all the "B" litter

This is Louise's pup, she is sat looking up mum, taken a while back now, look forward to seeing her as she grows up, being a Somerset girl it will have to be at the shows, cannot wait

Balian and his pot leg

Balian with is pot on, not bothered it at all and gets around really well, he goes for his first check up on Monday, fingers crossed

Monday 29 June 2009

WARNING BE CAREFUL

Please be careful if you have a puppy and an adult when re-introducing them after one has been out.

Yeats came home Saturday and Balian turned himself inside out to say hello and got his paw caught in a small gap between the slabs, and now has a broken toe.
The pup has his foot in a pot and the gap has been filled in as with all, but it's a warning to all just how easy it is to do something stupid.
First time I have had a dog break anything bar a freak accident years ago where I sat on Ebony's tail........................

Hopefully will get photos up later in week but afraid Balain come first
