Great sadness

It is with great sadness that I am letting you know that Dot Whittaker (Hunter) past away last week.
I am sure all our thoughts are with her family, some of you will have met her son Alan, at Midland Counties watching his wife Fiona, showing Herman in puppy and junior dog, winning both I might add.

Those of you connected to the breed for a long time know Dot bred large munsterlanders under the affix of DATROY. Others may not know but although my line looks as if it started with Gorsebanks, the Gorsebank lines foundation bitch was Sh Ch Datroy Ebbtide of Gorsebank.

Datroys are behind a lot of lines and were very influential in the breed and a lot of top winning dogs can trace their lines back to Datroy.

A lady with a great wealth of knowledge about the breed who will be missed

Setter and Pointer Champ Show Nov 2008

What an amazing day........
Yeats qualified for Crufts 2009 by being 2sd in Minor Puppy Dog and behaved very well, enjoyed meeting and greeting dogs and humans. Photo shows Yeats standing outside in the cold, we were judged indoors am pleased to say as it was bitter stood outside. Yeats kennel club name is Fluich Celtic Sword.
His sister Esta aka Fluich Celtic Spells also had a very enjoyable day as she is known as the "cabaret act" as her idea of walking on a lead is on her back with all 4 legs in the air, she actually managed go round the right way up and got a very creditable 4th place in minor puppy bitch.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere made the day even more enjoyable.
