CONGRATLUATIONS DOES NOT SAY ENOUGH REALLY..

Elaine & Heide after a good day at WELKS gaining 2sd in Open Bitch, then travelled down to Sherbourne in Dorset to stay overnight ready for an obedience show on the Sunday.

In the shadow of Sherbourne castle Heide and Elaine competed in Open "C" in lovely sunny weather and they WON......

This now means they can compete in Championship "C" obedience where they have the chance of winning tickets which if they get enough they become an obedience champion.

had a good day out and while I was away pups and mum behaved

PUPPY UPDATE - one week old

Crumbs where has the week gone......
Pups are growing like mad and all gaining weight well and mum is being super with them as real natural.
I will this weekend do some photos and get them printed on a CD so can load up here
and on main site after weekend.

SONA IS MUM..........

SONA gave birth to 12 healthy babies yesterday afternoon, in record time for mine, started at 12.45pm and finished by 17.25pm!!
Mum and babies are doing fine will put up photo later in the week.
I asked for an even split and thats what I got.
All seem fine and healthy. All within a couple of ounces of each other.

I am very proud of her she didn't need me at all

3 CLASSES AT THE G.S.A. CHAMP SHOW UNDER DR. RON JAMES.

Delighted owners rang to say they had done it. So so proud of Alan and Chevy as they have had Gordons going back to the early 80's. Paulyne does all the grooming at home and was there on the day to savour the moment.

CRUFTS 2008

Crufts 2008 has been and gone now, but as this has only just started thought I'd mention the following. Satchmo - Ichbin Your Minstrel won puppy dog. Well done Angie, his owner, for all the hard work you do behind the scenes so it makes it easy for me to take him in the ring. Well done must also go to Henry - Ichbin Your Magician as he powered round the ring with all 4 feet on the ground which his owner and me wondered if he would as he is so energetic.
A big thanks to Hannah on showing Tyme, who although unplaced was well behaved and also did Discover Dogs in the morning. To all Ichbins who qualified and attended well done, good luck throughout the 2008 show season

ZAYA

For me as a breeder there is only one of Zaya's pups still alive, that is Mischka living in Holland out of Zaya's first litter to Sh Ch Gorsebank Lord Magnum, she is the grand old age of 15 and 1/4 years. When Katie gets chance to update my site,see the new photo of her taken on her 15 birthday, on the "M" litter page, no way does she look that old.

Zaya had 9 pups to Alfie (Sh Ch Lord Magnum) and 10 to my own Storm, Sh Ch Gorsebank Baron Gustav JW. Fern was the last to go in Zaya's second litter, so for me my foundation bitches puppies are nearly gone. Time flies by as they were born in 1992 and 1994.

SAD NEWS

Last week unfortunately Helen Dorman lost her husband quite suddenly, although he had been ill for a while, this was unexpected. My heartfelt sympathy to Helen at this difficult time.
To add to this she also lost her soulmate in FERN (Ichbin Gretel) aged 14, Fern excelled in obedience as a youngster and produced the Large Munsterlander of the Year Obedience winner some years ago in Lewis (Ichbin Nightcloud). Fern was lightly shown. Her daughter Nina produced Helens first litter under the Solstars affix.
Sure all who read this will be feeling the same way and want to let Helen know our thoughts are with her at this difficult time.

Hopefully will be putting more up later today when recovered from a hectic weekend in Scotland doing the Large Munsterlander Breed Seminar, if you own either a FLUICH or a ICHBIN and want anything put up then email me and I will see what I can do.
