This is Mars (Sonic's brother) and Barry (one of my Gunster's) Christmas day. Thanks to Amber & Alex for the photo. As you can see one was on the move by the time the camera came out.
They went for a lovely walk later on which tired them all out.

Below is Dot sat along with her owners 2 grandchildren Christmas morning, Dot is Ichbin Franka who is now 9 years old. Thanks for the photos.

Sacha - Ichbin Cherokee
in Australia

Received the really sad news today that the Clarke family now living in Australia had to have Sacha ICHBIN CHEROKEE put to sleep on the 16th April 2011.
He had been treated for late stage lymphona and although responded to the treatment it was a short restpite, at one stage his owners took to sleeping downstairs with him with a hand in his mouth to allow him to breathe while asleep.
Sacha is much missed by all the family and their other dog.

My thoughts are with you all and "thank you" for giving him such a loving home both here and abroad.

National Dog Show May 2011

Mum is really proud of me again, went to a big dog show on Sunday and was entered into 2 classes stood alone in the first one, minor puppy dog and lady gave me a red prize card, then was seen again in next class, against 2 much older munster boys, beaten into second place by a really nice boy 6 months older than me.
They say it means I am qualified for Crufts 2012, what that is have no idea...

Met a really nice English setter girl that mum calls Luna she got 4th in her class but I was on the way home by then fast asleep.
The lady also owns a relative called Millie who stood in with loads of other girls, both her mum and mine were pleased with her placing too.

Didn't know all there were so many of us, all seemed very friendly and loads came to say hello which made the day more enjoyable, mind you was sound asleep in my bed by 9pm, its tiring at my age

Rhum and Wynter went to Pearl Anniversary Show on Saturday and enjoyed a tank round meeting and greeting people.
Met Bali's new owners who adopted him through Rescue and me they went home delighted with winning Handsome Dog and 2sd in the Rescue class
Saw Jenny and Pete plus their dogs Cash and Tarot.

Sunday was the second day of the Anniversary show I didn't go but Bali and his new owners did, they came away with Best Rescue of the Year under a different judge than Saturday.

Sage and I ventured out to our FIRST show in 5 months, she was happy to be out and meeting up with other dogs, stood well in her classes and took 2 seconds behind the Reserve Besrt of Breed
So was very pleased with her

Whatever anybody did with their munster or Gordon at the weekend hope they enjoyed themselves

Extra Sad News

Over the last 3 months some of my older favourites have past away, not all owned by me, or bred by me, both breeds, Gordon Setters and Large Munsterlanders, it brings it home, just how little time they are actually with us, and we should cherish every second we do have with them.

The latest one was Tina's Fergus, Gordon Setter, Clemansall Phantom Menace of Celtaur, bless him he is the dad to my Sona, Celtaur Camhanach, and grandad to my home bred Esta and Yeats.

He went peacefully in his sleep 13 12 2010.

Not the best photo in the world but this was the road earlier this week when it rained hard, not a long time raining but 20 minutes!!!!!!!! It was also when the dog room flooded twice

Nice bright morning to do the tatty fence, thanks to Alan for coming and transforming the above to the below

Now we have to take down the tatty fence and get rid of it but least of all the dog area is now safe and won't come down in the next bit of wind we have, and according to a lot of people we have a lot in Lincolnshire................

J & P had their Grand son staying last week, as you can see he is a happy boy, but look in the background at the Gordon sitting with his back to proceedings, this is a typical trait he is pretending to sulk because Jude is staying but keeps looking round every few minutes to make sure J & P are noticing that he is sulking!!!!!!!!
Never mind Tarot he's gone home now but hate to tell you he's back later in the month..

Heather has taken to curling up in the cage since being spayed last week, everybody else you will see is flat out she did at least raise her head when I came in from bringing in the washing.
Heather will be off shortly to her new home, she will be missed, but best for her.

Whispa is visiting today while her owners are out, and she decided to take up residence on one sofa, no room for me to sit down......

Demi laid, well sort of, on the back of the chair, no she isn't related to Satchmo, as he does that too, the pups have been playing all morning, nice to have some quiet time!!

Dear Echo, laid in the doorway as she likes to be cool, is staying today, she at least opened her eyes when I stepped over her to take the photo, Echo, bless her, is coming up to 14 years old.
